Is this thing on?…

I’m not very good at blogging. What I prefer to do is keep my thoughts in a hand written journal in which I write using a fountain pen. Sometimes I add a photo to a daily entry, but usually it’s all just text.

So why am I starting yet another blog?

Mostly this will be a place where I post recent photographs, one or two-offs that aren’t part of a specific gallery or project, and should a photo be interesting in some way other than its visual quality, I’ll write up my thoughts on it.

Hopefully, you the reader find what I post interesting in one way or another, and should you want to comment on a particular post, you reference the post on your own blog and add your comments there.

Why can’t you comment on my blog? Because I don’t want to participate in modern social networking - it’s too nasty and too lazy. I believe if you have something to say publicly, you need to own your words. Should you not agree, there are plenty of blogs on which you can comment, otherwise… Enjoy and thanks for looking around.
